Bruno Rainaldi lives and works in Milan, and for over 20 years has been involved in design and furnishing. After working alongside Maddalena De Padova as a salesman, he became partner with Enrico Baleri in Baleri Associates, a company involved in commercial strategy and communications for contemporary design companies

He then started Studio Rari, as Creative director, working closely with many companies, including Alivar (designing the "Brilliant Furniture" project), Blum, MDF, Mussi, Ciatti A Tavola, Sintesi .

In 1994 he takes part to the re-launch of Dilmos, creating Dilmos Edizioni, a collection of products with a strong artistic influences.

In 2002 he creates MOCO, an extraordinary modern pioneering collection of furniture & accessories. In 2004 one of the pieces from the Moco colloction, namely the Ptolomeo vertical bookcase, is awarded the "ADI Compasso D'oro"

In November 2002, he openes together with Marta Giardini ENTRATALIBERA, a 800 square metres show-room in the heart of Milan selling designer & contemporary art. Since 2002 he has been Professor of Design at the Academy of Brera in Milan.

In 2004 he creates with Massimo and Flavia Ciatti FACEBOX - genuine mirrors: a brand new mirror collection. and becomes partner of Ciatti A Tavola.

In 2005 he designs a new collection of storage units for the kitchen and living area for Ciatti A Tavola, as well as a collection of lamps for Terzani Luce Pensata.

In 2006 he introduces a new concept that deals with the develolpment of bed-headboards. This marks the start of the new collection called "DeSide" (by Gruppo Sintesi) of which he is also art-director. In the same year, he designs "Modè", a collection of storage units for Baleri Italia, as well as "Max8", a system of ceiling storage baskets for Ciatti A Tavola. Along with Marta Giardini, he is the designer of the collection of rugs named "4 Feet" by Mussi Italy.

Ptolomeo and his Family is launched in September 2006 at the fair Abitare il Tempo in Verona.

In 2007 he shows a new collection of lamps for Terzani luce pensata at Euroluce 2007. Affittacamere / Landlord is shown at ENTRATALIBERA: This is an installation consisting of four “rooms”in collaboration with Maurizio Galante, CCR, Mussi Italy, Terzani e BBB emmebonaccina.
